I recently purchased a D10, I didn't know about the D12 

, and I've been noticing that there's some high pitch pops/cracks every 5-10s in all of my music when I use my iRiver or my PC. Most of the music is in FLAC and I've never heard this noise when using my Xonar Essense STX -> HD555's. I've spent about 25 hours burning in the D10 with my iRiver iHP-120 and there has been no improvement in the noise, I have also re-seated the op-amps.
 
Is this noise really supposed to be there? (Noise from the recording studio that is rarely, if ever heard/talked about) Or is my D10 faulty?
 
I'm still within the 14 days to get a return, but I want to be sure that it is the D10 and not the music before and send it in and get a D12.

There shouldn't be any noise. My D10 never had that from new til now and I've had it for 1.5 yrs. now without any problems.
