Can you suggest awesome balanced cables? I haven't tried the balance output. I am using the fitear 335 SR upgraded.

Thanks!

I use Toxic-Cable from here in England. Frank is brilliant... there is a 600 page thread on head-fi all about them
http://www.head-fi.org/t/609155/toxic-cables-impressions-and-discussion-thread/8805
Frank has a website but it doesn't show everything and I wouldn't try and purchase from it still you will see some of the cables and the prices
http://toxic-cables.co.uk/
The easiest way to contact Frank is via this site
http://www.head-fi.org/u/279519/toxic-cables
and then agree what you want via private messaging and pay via PayPal
There is usually a 6 to 8 week wait (used to be much longer)
I have his SilverWidow 24 terminated in 3.5 HiFiMan balanced which I use for the S to my LCD-X and have the Black Widow on order for my Shure se846

Can't recommend Frank highly enough

Dear Forum Members,

I have 3 questions since I am looking to buy the PS:

1. Does the package come along with the leather case or does one have to purchase it separately?

I am looking to buy it in Amazon/ebay, but they do not specify the box contents.
2. Since it does not support bluetooth or wi-fi - how do the Firmware updates happen? do you need to do it manually by downloading it onto a computer and then transferring it through the USB cable?
3. I currently have a Sennheiser HD 650 (un-balanced) - I would like to have a balanced cable for HD 650 which is having a 3.5 mm jack so that it is compatible with the PS
Any links or pointers how to buy such a balanced cable?

Appreciate your help in advance!
I had post below some days ago for your Q3 ----------
You must have a balanced earphone with 4 pin setting as LRLR ++-- it then can plug & play balanced sounds via the 3.5mm bal port. The 3.5mm balanced earphone not commonly find as 2.5mm over the stores but you could use the 4 pin wiring for Hifiman HM901 in case the HM901 is more accessible in your area!

Do anyone ever experienced PS go completely silence at certain condition, it happened twice and I could only know music stop on playing DSD Native files!

I can't give precise info from how PS go no sounds since I unable to reproduce this issue yet

no this has never happened but I have only a couple of DSD files and don't play them that often compared with FLAC...I seem to remember someone else saying something similar a few weeks back - I think you should report it via your dealer to Cowon though

I got one with my package. My box also included a 3.5 to 2.5 mm balance cable converter

I had to buy the clear screen protector separately for like $20. Same size as the Plenue 1.

Does anyone know a common phone or something that has the same size screen as Plenue S? I want to get some higher quality fingerprint resistant or glass protector, since the official Cowon one is pretty generic and sticky.

Also, I didn't get a 3.5 to 2.5mm balanced adapter, but I tried it at the shop (the silver thing with gold connector, which is supposed to be Cowon official), but the connection on the 2.5mm side was very dodgy and kept on losing contact during playback, so I ended up not buying it. Maybe it was faulty...

Can anyone upload a close up snap of the 3.5mm to 2.5 mm balanced converter that has been included along with the Plenue S?
What would you suggest?
 - Is it better to directly purchase a 3.5 mm TRRS balanced cable ?
or
- is it better to go for 3.5mm to 2.5 mm balanced converter + a 2.5 mm Balanced cable?

this is one link i found for a 3.5 mm TRRS Male to 2.5 mm TRRS balanced female converter

It's also possible to get a 3.5 mm trrs balanced cable, with a 3.5 trrs to 2.5 trrs adapter. If you're mainly using it with the Plenue S that might make most sense (if you need the adapter at all).

This is the CC PH cable, terminated to 3.5 mm trrs that comes with 2 adapters (2.5 and regular 3.5).
