What's the cheapest price for T1s and is it considered a "fun" headphone? Looking for something TOTL now that I already own HD600s. Don't think HD800s will be worth it since it will be the same neutral signature as the HD600s which are somewhat boring to me though have a place

Just a suggestion :yoU can get a T1 1st gen used at a very good price
And mind it getting it at that mid-fi price is just really superb deal ,it blows water out all mid-fi headphones, no comparison at all.

Actually T1 V2 with Phonitor 2 - never ever before heard such a crystal clear, natural sound...

Hugely impressed.

Anyone have comparisons of this to HD800 or LCD-2? Looking for a TOTL. Currently own HD600 and AD900x with Uber Schiit Stack

Some simple non-core curriculum old school new school  math:

Tidal plus Mojo plus T1.2 = perfection.

Update:

I have tried Shure 535 and find them to my liking.  I won't try the higher model, lest dissatisfaction return!

The Tesla in ears with the joint product with Beyer are intriguing, but out of range, financially, for now.  I also read of some early production issue which may not be rectified, but for now, the 535 seems good enough for the treadmill or the hike when I stray from the T1.2!

Received my replacement T1 second generation today and boy am I impressed. Listened to Tina Guo "Eternity", Biffy Clyro "The Vertigo of Bliss", Natalie Merchant "Ophelia" and Big Sugar "Heated" all 16 bit flac from my PC running Foobar (wasapi) > Cambridge Audio Dacmagic > Little Dot MK II (tube rolled to Russian 6N6P Power tubes and Mullard CV4010 drivers). I cannot wait to burn these headphones in.
