Guess what arrived just hour ago? Yes, the new T1. Was going to video unboxing but couldn't help myself...emotions got best of me and I opened them.
Very good looking pair of headphones construction is top and so is comfort. Now to sound..:
The mid range is fabulous and even mid range bass is excellent. Voices sound realistic and organic. Compared to my HD800 they actually sound slightly darker and more pleasant to listen. The sound is fun and somewhat addictive. Very effortless, very detailed with that perfect bass body. They are for sure more bassy then HD800 but not bass monster. The sound stage is smaller then HD800 for sure but not by much. Ears are able to process and enjoy what I'm hearing instead of being overwhelmed. Sound stage feels natural and not over the top. Overall very , very good sounding pair of headphones. They look and smell (yes, new smell) amazing.
The detachable cables are also a welcome change and quality of cable seems pretty good. Cable is not thick or heavy and does not drag headphone anywhere.
These headphone are most definitely worth getting or audition.
