Nope, the badges only cover the plastic back of the driver cup. The space is filled with a little foam disk that sits between the cup back and badge. So no you will not convert them to open back headphones by removing the badges.

Does anyone know any aftermarket earpads that fit the Custom Street? This is a modders' gem.
