New BA IEMs from Brainwavz?

I have say I am using the B100 still and really enjoy its signature. I use it mainly at night time because I can sleep with them in my ears and they don't bother me. If they had a mic and controls for a smartphone I would probably use them more during the day.

My gr07 cable died and now I gotta look for a temporary replacement. Saw comparison for b100 against mee A151p which I owned before and am satisfied with the mids /treble. But how's the bass on the b100, compared to RE-00, gr07 or tdk b200?

I know this because mine arrived yesterday and one of the housings was not very well put together, so I pulled it apart (easy to recable if the cable every breaks), and re-glued it flush.

And a some kind of "modding" suggestion: Adding a resistor will cool down the slightly warm signature of the B100. Values around 32 ohms will make it sound pretty, pretty neutral and value around 64 ohms or above will move the B100 towards Etymotic territory. Coincidentally the Etymotic P to S converter with it's ~75 ohm will do this. This are the resulting uncompensated frequency responses for stock (yellow), 32 ohms (red) and 64 ohms (green):
