Interesting that only the LS50 has multiple colour choices while the rest of the line-up has a more mature look

LS50 colour look too toyish too me, If only it has gold or silver colour like CKM55...

The navy blue option adds a hint of maturity. Multiple colour options is a welcome edition in this world of Sonys & Beats to attract a younger audience. I mean, look at the angular design just screaming for attention

Multiple colour options

For me multiple colour options are: Black, gunmetal and brushed aluminium.
Everything else is for kid's toys. But maybe that's just me....

Discrete to the max huh? I'm in favor of that too :D
This may sound stupid but one of the reasons (not the main one) i bought the im50 instead of the im70 was precisely the colour, that red killed me.

If colorfulness is immature, no wonder adulthood is such a dreary place... but yeah, I prefer everything matte black and grey too :veryevil:

Its been a while since I've wanted to buy an iem, and luckily when I was going to order the im50 again, saw the preorder for ls50. Ordered the blue. Should arrive within a week or so since today's the release.

Started with an im50, (really liked the white look over the always seen black) and then sold it after upgrading to the im01. Sadly lost my im01 early this year.

Hope the ls50 is worth the extra I paid over im50 (which I could have gotten for under 50usd, ls50 cost me around 65~70usd + 15ish for shipping). Can't wait :D

Praise cdjapan.co.JP for letting me preorder

Finally a first review of LS400 from kakaku, I'm too lazy to translate to english though, but they give all 4 star and say it worth the price.

I found this picture , The plastic shell seems cheaply made on the nozzle area , with those mold defects that appear on cheap plastic products , besides the space between the two pieces of the shell (that's not a defect clearly) that would collect dirt overtime  . I would expect more from a +100$ iem .

Picture from Review.Kakaku.com , (Audio-Technica ATH-LS70 Kenzo Konoike's review and evaluation) .

They better sound good. Looking at the pics the LS70 come with a lame pouch and a few tips. At least the E40, which is cheaper, came with more accs. including an excellent case. That pic of the nozzle is not an issue cause it may be an early isolated thing. If all look that sloppy and they come with the lame accs., then they better sound damn good!
