Interesting...Three "in's", and three "out's". Lots of options there.

Can you read the pricing and availability?

Nobody does wood like Audio Technica. That clip on is just too cool looking and that amp... WOW, looks sweet but I wonder how it sounds.

I'm drooling here.

But the million dollar question is how much is it? A million dollars maybe?

Release Date : 21st Nov
Price : Around 280,000 Yen.

I've a feeling that it can accept digital inputs of varying sampling frequencies, 32/44.1/48/88.2/96kHz, similar to Grace 901.

And the wood clippie is nice also, wonder how it sounds since it seems its priced above the current ones.

There was also two other new clippies on that page, more spartan looking ones

280,000 Yen.

So that would be about $2500? Too bad it is so damn expensive (to me

), I would be very interested in hearing it paired with my W1000.

According to a couple posts at another headphone forum (in Chinese), Audio-Technica 'phones sound really good with their own high-end amps.

Also, does anybody else think the EW9's are excessive? They are 18,000 yen - that's 166 usd. That's about double the cost of the metal current EM7. Actually I think all their new earclips are kind of excessive/expensive.

Just as the beautiful ATH-W2002 had the handsome HA-2002 amp to compliment it, the new ATH-L3000 has the equally stunning AT-DHA3000 amp to play with. Is this the first ever digital headphone amp?
