kingwa reply to me in the email that my upgrade will benefit other users,Am I the first to return R8 to add ext clock?
I suspect so.... Round trip shipping from USA will be expensive so after Kingwa completes your upgrade, many of us will change out the RCA jack to BNC and perform the FW upgrade from the field. Again, Thank you!

The cost of changing BNC is only $15,but round trip transportation costs $50(in CHINA).After my upgrade i will share my feelings. My 10M clock is also in production. In terms of parameters, it should be a good one(@1HZ -110db)

It belongs to DIY,but has the same parameters as GUSTARD C18,the price is less than half that of C18.

Hi handsdady,

Can you share with us the details of your DIY timing source?
Did you buy a timing source as a kit [do you have a URL?] or did you buy an OCXO and build your own power supply?

3-way output, 50 Ω / 75 Ω and square wave output respectively. After receiving the machine, connect 220V AC and the heat engine can be used normally in an hour. When not in use, the machine does not need to be powered off. Crystal oscillator, the core component of the whole machine, is guaranteed for life without human damage

Phase noise parameters are divided into five categories,-110db -113db -115db -118db and Less than -120db,the prices correspond to $470 , $700, $1000 , $1400 and $2200 respectively.Although I don't know the price of GUSTARD C18 in your country, I guess the price of this clock is lower than that of GUSTARD's products.

Where can you get more info on these clocks? Any pictures of the insides/ power supply? They are a bargain if each unit is scanned to meet spec and a graph is supplied as proof of performance.

May be time to retire the Oscilloquartz OCXO on the M7S 2020 system. The Gustard C18 is $1,600 (-110db/hz @ 1hz). And the DIY version is $470? That’s is crazy. I will try one for that price.
