You might want to check out the DIY forum...Cory's work is very highly respected and he's built many beautiful B22 (and other) amps. So before you make such comments, try a little digging first.

Yes I did :)

So let me ask another question, what is currently considered the best option for the LCD-3, cost no object? Liquid Fire? Dark Star? Any other

Even that I own a Dark Star I would say that coming from a Woo Tube amp like the WES and if you are not owning or thinking about buying the HE-6 I would go with the LF. I listened to the LF/LCD-3 at RMAF and the combo was magnificent. I also had a LF for demo in my home for 3 weeks. At the beginning I was not impressed but after about a week or do of burn-in I started liking it and by the end it was hard to ship it back but I had the DS on order and needed it for my HE-6.

That was a joke (...)

I have no doubt it is, just saying the DIY stuff are not for me and I'm in Europe so I doubt a custom build would be universal voltage, damn voltage, I would have already bought the Balancing Act on the FS forum if it wasn't US voltage...

Nevermind...being in Europe makes things more complicated...with your 240V and all.

Thanks, that's great feedback, I might go with an LF then

I emailed them twice, never got a response. Want to buy the LF, but they don't seem to care :frowning2:

Alex is pretty busy lately but he's usually good about that kind of thing.

To give you an idea though...I've had an amp of his and a jacket he left at the meet for almost a month now but we haven't been able to find time to meet.

You could try a dealer like ALO. It sounded like there were a few extras per dealer.

Quate: " Following voltage harmonization, electricity supplies within the European Union are now nominally 230 V ± 6% at 50 Hz "

China (and others) runs 220. But it is more complicated than that.....

Alo and Aphrodite have them in stock but American voltage afaik, if he doesn't answer fast enough he won't be getting my money that's for sure, since I'm not patient at all and need an amp.
