does the Plenue 1 share the same sound signature as the L5Pro? who has both and which sounds better with the Zen v2 or any high impedance earphones? I'm thinking of trading my P1 with the L5Pro but not sure if that's a sane decision to make.

Personally don't love the Zen 2 and L5P combo, but it's OK with EQ (problem is there are only presets atm). I know this is a little late, but I just got my self

Burn in completed - 200+ hours. Some brief impressions.
 
Operation; no faults bar an annoying predilection for self-ejecting when attached to mac for file transfers. (Four times so far and annoying because it only likes my micro cards to be loaded up whilst inserted in L5 Pro.) Anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?
 

I know this is a little late but I have just gotten a L5Pro and I have been having this exact problem. Good thing I have a windows machine also... So did you ever find a solution?

Hi. I gave up on the L5 Pro as it just didn't like interfacing with Mac, despite it offering the best sound I have heard on a DAP so far. If they fixed the problems, I'd go back just for the sound quality.

I think the auto-rejecting issue is a problem with Spotlight Indexing, I thought we fixed that together hmm? @albaman
 
Anyway, it is safer stick to using Windows for now.

I just use folder browsing for the time being, works well except for being out of order (believe someone had a tool/trick for fixing this earlier in thread I can't remember atm). Is your album art showing up? I havne't had much luck, fortunately something that doesn't bother me too much.

Have you figures out tge album art? Im having some show up and others not. Is it associated with tag type or the program used or something?

Oh, I see, album art must be 500x500. But all formats seem to work.

Change-blog:
1. More responsive volume control.
2. Added support for DSD128/DXD and 384Khz/32bit WAV/FLAC files.
3. Added play mode and play status visuals.
4. Fixed some compatibility issues with Mac computers messing up song count.
5. Now it has more accurate battery indicator.
6. Max songs limit increase to 6000.
7. USB DAC now has delay setting, power setting, and sample rate unlock up to 192Khz/24bit.
8. Fixed multiple bugs with music file tagging. (please use library update after updating the firmware)
9. Some more minor bug fixes and system backend changes.
 
AAC support and touch-swiping will most likely come with the next update.
 
PS. I have heard this firmware made sound a lot cleaner.

I wouldn't say it is fully compatible yet, but if Mac users keep reporting bugs with Mac, L&P can fix them through updates.

Hi,
I tried the new firmware on my L5Pro but it suddenly stop in the middle of the upgurade, and then now I can't boot my L5Pro. When I connect it with my Mac, my Mac can't recognize it.
So please tell me how to solve it. I think I don't lock the screen and L5Pro is charged enough.
