I like 'Flash Delerium', 'Siberian Breaks' and 'Congratulations' tracks.

Here's a stream - MGMT - Congratulations

Thanks cheemo! Listening right now. Sounds different...hmmm....

This pretty much sums the album up very well. I think I prefer it to their second album though. It's not at all what I expected it to be but more variety.

I like 'em both and will pick them up soon.

Love that Mr. Mercer and his Dangerous side project.

How about the Beach House album, Teen Dream?

Any

I really like Teen Dream, it's one of my favourite albums so far this year. It reminds me of Galaxie 500 and thats a good thing.

Your favourite track on Teen Dream? Me - the last one, "Take Care".

Not, sure. I think the entire album is good. But, agree "Take Care" is good, and the opening track.

Just picked up Andrew WK Close calls with brick walls and mother of mankind - Double disc set so I'm still digesting it, but if you liked his earlier stuff this is worth a listen
The Dillinger Escape Plan Option Paralysis - Could be the best metal CD of the year so far for me.

Heard a few tracks, didn't catch me right away.

I love the NPR album listen, it has made a few decisions for me so far.

MGMT's new album = amazing

Beach House - Teen Dream is another great album, but I still don't think it is up there with some of the albums from last year.

She & Him - Vol. II - great, but a bit of a letdown, although I am not in love with the first album nearly as much as I used to be so that may be it. A solid album though, and one I will probably come back around to.

Recently, I've been enjoying those :

Hybrid - Disappear Here (not what you'd expect completely ; their most mature work so far. 4.5/5)

Morgan Page - Believe (very nice house-ish music)

Slackbaba - Perverting Mankind (about time... long in the waiting!)

Breakage - Foundation

Groove Armada - Black Light (okay, maybe the least of the ones I am mentionning that I enjoy. Can't really get into it, but some songs do stick in my head)

Just got this today and need more listens :

Goldfrapp - Head First
Bonobo - Black Sands

NPR music is great and kudos to the music artists that allow a stream before the official album.

I agree MGMT has beaten the sophomore slump and I will pick up 'Congratulations' when released.

Yup, at first listen coming from Volume 1 it doesn't grab you as hard initially. After a few listens though it really does begin to shine. It sort of follows the same progression as Volume 1, right down to the last song.

They're all good songs if you ask me, not really a weak one in there. My favourites at the moment are "Gonna Get Along Without You Now", "Sing", "If You Can't Sleep" and "Home". "Home" really is class, I love the way it swings in and out of different styles.

Oh, I love the Wurlitzer parts, too
