My sony S745  really old now. I want new player that play AAC / Any lossless.  I try Iriver E300 but no M4A support but I love their crystal Clear EQ setting.
  I Search around ebay found this. Anyone have information about this. Is it worth to spend on

well since you already have an amp i guess buying the diymod would definitely bring out the full potential of your amp and ciem.
other plus side of the imod is that you would be able to rockbox it which allows you to set your own eq.
 
some disadvantage of the imod however is that i believe the battery drains quite fast.
