Need help on picking the right pair of On/Around ear Headphones

I am looking for a Bass heavy headphone ( I have more balanced type of earphones and really want a bass heavy as well). I liked the Beats solo HD bass was ok but everything else was meh. I like the V-moda M-100 but don't feel like paying $299.99 for headphones at the moment. I Have seen the V-moda Crossfade LP, LP 2 and M-80 ( I actually was going to buy them at radioshack today but all sold out ) but the LP some reviews said while bass heavy like i want the mids were meh. I also tried the Sennheiser hd419 and returned them.
 
i am considering the Beats solo HD even though i hate them because they do fit my criteria for thumping bass
