I need help deciding on which headphones to pick between, so far my choices are V moda m100, or AKG q701. I mainly listen to alot of mainstream music and ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of taylor swift country to pop and a dubstepish song. Im spending around 300ish any good choices, also any headphones that look great and have good build quality is a major plus. Any other suggestions?

Do you want them to be portable?
Open/closed back?
Would you mind buying an amp as well?

my sources are pc and nexus 4, and idc if its open or close or if its portable, and for amp it depends how much i have to pay for it

The 701 is not going to have enough bass for the music you listen to, go with the M100.

Vmoda M100....
They have good base for what you listen to and they are both portable and won't bother the people around you because they are closed.
If you don't care about base as much you could also try the Logitech UE6000.

No, not really, the M100 is a really nice headphone that you won't be embarrassed to wear outside, unless you want a cheaper alternative than I'll probably recommend something like the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro or the Logitech UE 6000.

From the reviews I've read it's suppose to be a really good $60 amp. My first amp was between this and the FiiO E11, I went with the E11 because it was a little bit more portable.
