Im looking for a DAC to around $300. I will be using it to Amp my Dt770 250s and my HD580s. So far I have been looking toward the ibasso D1. The Corda Move is also a contender but from what I gather the Move has an inferior chip. What would be some other good choices.

Much appreciated

See if you can pick up a used PreSonus Central Station around $300. They usually go in that ballpark on eBay. I think you'd like the DAC and the headphone amplifier section sounds great with Sennheisers.

Yeah I second that. For the $$ it is a wonderful piece.

The presonus central's dac is getting a lot of positive chatter around here lately. maybe a little too much...

I use and love a Headroom MicroDAC. It's not in production anymore and used to retail for $299, but you can get one for a bit more than $215 in the FS forums. Don't know if Headroom still sells them new ...

I think it might be a little too big for me. It does alot which I dont need. Id prefer a smaller desktop amp. But $300 is a good price for what you get.

The MicroDac is another option which sounds good and is right within your price range.

EDIT: Never mind, I forgot they released a new line and bumped up the price to 399.

The CS may be getting a lot of attention, but it is entirely deserved.

Is there any decent DAC at not-really-expensive price level, but a major step up from my iBasso D1?

I'm interested in how this 2 DAC sound.
