yup, i've read that. but it sounds inconclusive. and 1.9 is the exact number for iPhone 4's impedance, so maybe, you know.. i've tried to search for that "buried in this somewhere" but can't exhume it from anywhere hahaha

Well hey...I own two of those devices!

However, I don't use IEMs, so the output impedance isn't a big deal for me.

Could anyone help me out?
I have a 7th Generation iPod Classic that I use with JDS Labs C5 and Shure SE215. I recently paired the setup with the 6th Generation Nano and to me it sounds way better than the 7th Generation iPod Classic. Why is that?

My impressions have come more slowly lately, I'm sorry. But thank you for sticking with ol' shiggy for so long.

I can recall the first post of yours that i read it talked about balanced armatures, a term which had never heard before even if i had just purchased a Shure SE110 set.

In any case in a time when ditching idevices sound quality was the trend here you raised your head above the crowd to point out that they sounded quite clean and open. Somehow that idea has echoed in my mind across the years of aural bliss provided by Apple portables.
