I recently came into possession of an HD-650 stock cable, and tried it with my HD-600. This should probably be taken with a grain of salt (since I'm going on memory and didn't audition the Oehlbach for more than a couple days), but the HD-650 stock cable sounds pretty similar to the Oehlbach to my ears. They aren't sonically identical, but the differences are small enough that if I had a pair of stock HD650s I would not spend $60 on an Oehlbach.

According to my experience the Oehlbach has its very own sonic signature, very different from the HD-650 stock cable. In terms of smoothness and spaciousness the difference is even larger than between the Zu Mobius and the stock cable.
