I'd love to hear these at some point. However I can't help but think it looks like someone has two apple mice stuck to their heads

Maybe Paul Barton will make a matte finish hp50 in a few years. Let's sign a petition supporting non glossy finish!
Welp that ugly headband is a boner killa' but if they fix this aspect as well........... instant.
... fo' sho.
They seem to have the sonics down, just the comfort/ aesthetics that is holding back from godhood. Was very interested in these until i saw the pics/ problems with the shallow cups etc. Not a deal breaker but stuff like this adds up so......

I like how the headband functions as a handle so you can pick people up by their nads, swing them around, put them on the conveyor belt at the airport...

Hahahaha. Great, just great. Now I will always see a mouse when I look at the HP50...

I created an account to sign a petition but then I thought it would be better if we don't mess up with the government.
We the people demand Paul Barton to redesign a VISO HP50 with a matte finish.

that glossy finish looks REALLY prone to scratches... do they scratch easily?
Surprisingly, they don't get scratch marks easily at all.
Mine was finally shipped yesterday, but wait...

Impressed with the bass in this headphone. Did a quick head to head with the P7. At first hear...the NAD.

I bought the HP50 and really enjoyed the sound. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, the ear cups were simply not deep enough for my ears. The edge of my ear would touch the inside of the cup, making it very uncomfortable to wear these for more than 45 min at a time without taking long breaks in between. Had to return them.

I love the sound.
No question, they're a bit WARM, and by that I mean hot on the ears...
THAT I can live with.
Sound is truly 'British' and I love that too however....
I can never get my RIGHT ear comfortable.
Left ear is fine but the right ear always pinches a bit and no matter how I move them around it doesn't get any better.
It actually hurts just a little bit.
Had them for about 6 weeks now, I MAY have to punt them and go shopping.

Nobody willing to try swapping pads? I bet there are several Shure and Sony pads that fit.
