My VSONICS GRO7 IEM's arrived today in the mail via USPS. After opening the package and playing around with the ear tips, I listened to them and wow, they sound amazing for $150. Very warm and analytical, very finely detailed. Highs seem to be pretty good, maybe a little bit edgy when being specific, mids sound pretty awesome, and while the lows aren't exactly the focal point, they are still powerful and deep. I'll let them burn in for 24 hours and see what happens then!

24 hours should be fine, it you wanted a full burn in, id let them burn in for 3 days, than you should be fine.

Give them a break every few hours or so.

Lows will settle and clear up while highs get better extension.

Also, how can the sound be both "warm and analytical"? How can tepid water be hot or something transparent be red? I don't understand

Transparency can have a red tint to it. Also, it just is, it's hard to explain.

Good reading & impressions here..

Count me a very big fan of these.. and they'll fully settle after 150 hours of so of burn-in. The warm-leaning sound diminishes and they become supremely balanced.. mids come forward a little more, treble smooths out, gains clarity.. the entire fq range gains definition & extension by then too.

Yeah, I just got mine today too...coming from the PL50s, these are in another league!  I do notice a bit of harshness on the highs though, so I guess I'd better leave them to burn in overnight...first time I've ever done such a thing.
