I'm very curious about those GR01! They're supposed to be dual-armature, right?

That really sucks.. I haven't received mine yet but hopefully yours was just an isolated incident and your replacement works much better.

Yes it does, and hopefully it is.  I no longer have the box so I'm hoping there will be no issue with a replacement.........I'm missing them *sniffle*.
I'm sure its something to do with the driver as I can momentarily get something from it when I insert the earphone due to the air pressure change but it stops immediately.

I am seriously considered into buying these phones but I am a bit afraid on the quality issues, so I hope that NuckinFutz problem was isolated.
Did anyone else have problems with these? Of course they are a pretty new model.
How does VSonic stands in terms of warranty issue? Do you get easily a replacement?

Got my GR06 today!  Was one of those nice surprises, wasn't expecting to get them so quickly so wasn't on my mind but got in from work... there they were

Good service Frogbeats!

Been listening to them for about an hour now, through my SG2 and now through my home setup and I'm impressed!  Firstly, as you said, what a selection of extras! I've seen less tips in a pool hall.  I didn't get the chin slider either though....bit strange.  I do find them very comfortable, I quite liked the foam tips.... god only knows what ones I've got on there at the moment.

I know these are still fesh but they sound smooth and impactful.....in all honestly not a far from my ProAlphas at all.  I'll A/B them tomorrow as left the PA's at work but initially they sound a little bassier, mids about the same, and highs maybe a little more recessed.  I'm listening to Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins and the guitars are lush and full, NIN also sounded powerful and lively.  Tried some Skrillex and Feed Me, the bass response really shows itself here......just changed to DeadMau5...sweet!  The bass seems pretty quick, I'm not the best to comment really but certainly doesn't seem flabby at all.

Once it bloody updates I'm going to play BF3 with them just to add some hours

I'm interested to read a more detail comparison between ProAlpha and GR06. Because i wanna buy one of theese models and can't choose. The source is Sansa Fuze rockboxed.

Easy, get the GR06

IMO they are not a million miles apart but everything is done better on the GR06....for my tastes anyway.  The GR06 goes deeper and although doesn't seem to extend at the top as the ProAlpha they actually have better retrieval in this area and positioning is spot on.  They are balanced and oh so smooth, nothing jumps out.  Soundstage is also slightly wider but not by a huge amount.  I can do a more definitive review when I get the GR06 back....missing them.

Welcome to Head-fi!

Thanx for help and greets. I'll trust your opinion. I was actually glad using Sennheiser CX270... until i tried my friend's brainwavz m3. But it's too expensive for me. So i found these two models.
Anyway thanx for help.
Hope to get them as soon as possible.

NuckinFutz one more question to you: how are vsonic gr06 with sansa fuze? Is it actually worth to buy?

Great. I only use the Fuze when I'm on holiday tbh but GR06 are well worth the money.

The more expensive GR04 is the Flagship edition, this is updated Pro.  The naming convention is somewhat stupid I know but there you go!

Yes i know about flagship but there are r04 with the same name as this one but costing about 65-69$. So which would be better. If i'd prefer more exact sound, but i like bass too. I mean if the r04's sound is as detailed as gr06's or less?
