i already have my hd555's packaged and ready to ship back to the dealer. they in no way shape or form are better than the hd580's, and the more i listened to the hd555's the more i realized how great my hd580's were when i started listening to them again.

hd555's lose out on too many things to be considered in the same ballpark as the hd580's and while if i had to live with hd555's it'd not be that big of a deal, it's definately not worth it in my book to keep them over my hd580's. i'm not quite sure how you can say the hd555's are better than the hd580's minus a few genres since anything the hd580's play sounds good. whereas the hd555's quickly show their strengths and weaknesses.
