Jan sent me the DT880's as well (I dont think I was the only one to order this combination).





The DT880 join the HD590 as my main headphones.

Pre burn-in the Aria+DT880 sound sweet, this is in comparrison to Rev5.1+HD590.

Those DT880 look really sweet.... almost wish I'd put in a order for those when I put the order in for my aria.


But then again I'm not really certain that I can afford the aria anyway (I'll have to find the money from somewhere... lol) and I've already got a pair of MS1 on order - bit too early to be getting a 3rd pair of headphones I think (especially as I never intended to buy the first pair till Febuary next year!!)

I have the MS1 next on my hit list. For anyone outside the US its the cheapest way to get any sort of Grado.

The price of €150 for the DT880 was to good to miss.

I'm sort of thinking about this set up, the DT880's and the Aria because of the extra discount I'd get on the DT880's. But I'm also and have been yearning for the K701's.

Right now I don't really have much of a set up except for speakers, Dahlquist QX5A's and Pioneer 1015tx (silver) connected to my computer via TOSlink. Headphones I only have the Sony EX71's.

I may just be one of the few ordering on the last day. Hopefully some more will come forth with their findings on their newly recieved Aria's to help me make this decision. Please come forth. Thanks for all the thoughts so far and TIA for additional ones.
