DarkSleip, thanks for the info. The Senns pump out quite well straight from the Nano, but find that it drains my battery perhaps a little too fast. Will the amp help?

The HD25 used to be pretty expensive, around 29.000 yen at Yodobashi Kamera in 2010 when I lived in Japan. The prices have been lowered and now I think the HD25 are around 23.000 yen (or even lower). Better, but still a little bit more expensive than in Europe.
 
But hey, it's better to go by your ears than by your wallet!
