Any opinions? Does/has anyone own(ed) both? Are the phiatons worth the extra $50 or so?

Klipsch iamge ONE(highely recommended)has great bass response with wide soundstage and provide more volume than most headphones.

i found the ms400s on amazon new for 160 and used for 130 buy em image ones have lossish bass and the treble is a bit hard in my opinion
Also how does Sennheiser HD25 fit into the mix? Less bass, obviously, but...what else?
What I really want to know is, what am I getting with the Phiatons that I'm not with Image Ones? I'm not really an audiophile (yet?) but I do appreciate real soundstaging and high definition in sound; I know the phiatons and senns have this, but am I going to get real high res sound with the image ones? I'm tempted by the mic on the Klipsch, because they will be getting most of their use with my HTC Inspire smartphone, and I like that I hear good bass reviews from them, but I don't want to spend $120+ on something that isn't going to make my ears tingle with high-def joy

If you really do end up disliking the phiatons, amazon has a very good return policy

Thanks From what I hear I'm sure I'll be happy, I was more wondering if there was something comparable for a lower range. Looks like I get to be spoiled

Just ordered the black phiatons off amazon.... ^_^
did you buy usd or no?
From what I read here on head fi the image ones lose a lot of low mids to bass echo, which is one thing that frustrates me about my CX 400-II earbuds. I figure why not just skip the middle step and get something I will want to keep.
