Whoa.. Something's not right here..
2GB's of RAM and a duo core processor should not be that weak..
Check your task manager (ctrl + alt + del does it in vista), check the "Processes" tab, sort them by their CPU usage, take note of the applications which use the highest CPU.
Then sort them by their memory usage, again, take note.
I can't think of any other possible explanation than having a bunch of background programs (Kaspersky, for instance) hogging up the resources.
Try checking the resource manager as well.
Life must be horrible knowing that you can't get that beautiful sound with your d2000.. (What? You have D2000's? This is definitely a case of upgraditis then, it's official

I think maybe once while i was burning a CD, listening to music and moving some music over to a USB Drive. |

Scrolling down webpages, blowing up pictures, watching a movie, etc. I tried so many things but didn't want to go all the way into reformatting my computer with it having a MAYBE shot of working so I just figure until i upgrade my computer in a couple years, I can get an amp then. Until then tho, I'd like the best sounding headphones for price i can get ![]() |

So an amp is out of the question for me... well hmm can a fiio e5 connected to my headphone out do me any good? |
