 would you say its exactly in the middle or its closer to one of them? I mean,is it like barely noticable step up from Audeze or is it pretty close to Sennheisers?

It's a solid step up from Audeze, but perhaps not in the way you might be expecting.  The stage itself isn't massively larger, but localization of notes within the 3dimensional space inside the stage is a lot better.  So the soundstage isn't huge, but it sounds open and airy.

Back again I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Taurus MK2 with the ether's? While I am interested in the WA22 I've been hearing so many good things about the Taurus pairing with the LCD3s that I would like a solid opinion on it.

I have the Taurus Mk 1 and I had a hd800 owner tell me it (ether) sounds better on it than hd800 on a dynahi with soundstage size that's comparable and hard to tell apart. While I personally preferred the liquid carbon for its sound signature/tonality, I am the minority as every experienced audiophile I know prefer the Taurus (after a-b testing with me). I do admit that the Taurus is technically superior to the LC but there's just something about the LC that I like.

So in conclusion the Taurus pairs very well with ether. The Mk ii might be even better although differences between the two are marginal at best.

I have a Vanquish cable, for my Alpha PRIMES and the ETHER and ETHER C. I use the Vanquish cable with my home entertainment system and the DUM cable for my critical listening system.. I would like to check out the Draug 2 cable too. I really like the cables, Trevor crafts at Norne Audio.
