I had aeon2 before and also have a set of aeon RT on the way to try. I'll keep which I like

What ZMF pad versions are you using?

Zmf angled leather earpads. That's all I know

Well loving these, bit of eq and there great.

And I can fall asleep in them which is my true test of comfort

The aeon RT will be here next week for me to compare then I will keep on of them

Thanks, it looks like ZMF's angled pads for the Auteur headphones. I have a pair of those I used on my Atriums that worked well and may try those on the Ether CX.

I haven't had the time to pull out my ZMF pad collection to test them on the Ether CX. I seem to remember that like there was a SBAF post with FR measurements for a lot of pads.

Decided to keep the cx.

Just overall prefer the sound of them.

I may change the pads at some point
