Can I ask a VERY stupid question please.  Just hooked up my mojo to my macbook pro.  The toslink works just fine.  The micro usb does not.  I did not plug it into the micro charging port.   I set the MBP to output mojo usb.  Do I need a special micro usb cable???  No sound...

There are some times when I don't get sound from the Mojo, but I just unplug and re-plug the USB cable from my Macbook and it works fine after that.

Tried plugging and unplugging several times.  Tried another micro usb.  Tried another macbook too.  The sample rate shows blue too.

Easier said than done. I'll look into it, but I'm not exactly good at that type of stuff.

I also got a pair on the way! They're coming with a DUM terminated 1/8", so I'll probably be looking for a cable, too. I was thinking wywires red... Seems a popular pairing.

As of right now I'm planning to save up for a Mojo, but has anyone paired these with a Sony UDA-1? There's one new in box for under $400 in my area and the few write-ups I've seen were very positive. Thanks for all the insights peeps!

Has anyone tried the Ether C with the Onkyo DP-X1? I'd love to be able to get a decent portable streaming DAP that pairs well with the Ether C without tying an iPod to some other device with shoestring.

It sounded great but I was running up to the max volume with no external amp. It was a little better with a balanced cable. This is why I am looking for a Questyle QP1R.

Nice! It would be totally be worth it, to me, to pay for a balanced cable to get streaming.
