I hope so the Crimson sounds wonderful. I like it because its very design, encourages one to drop in a tube and just enjoy the music,which can be nice, when one has a stressful day and does not want to fuss with tube rolling.

Crimson is on my top list. Glad you like yours.

When it comes to tube amps my favourite its the Liquid Glass. But my favourite solid-state amp, by far is the Ragnarock. Of the two amps, The Liquid Glass sounds the best, however that might be just the new/ novelty sound that intrigues me the most.

  Everyone, we got some bad news from our box vendor today.  An error was made in the last step of laminating the boxes and the whole lot was lost, which means we have to literally throw the whole bunch out, procure new box stock from scratch and redo them all.  At most this will take 5 business days from Thursday.  They're expediting and I will post an update when we have one.  
 
If you got your shipping notice in the last 48 hours (sorry NZTechfreak that includes you) they will not be shipping this week as promised, but they absolutely will go out next week.  The headphones are built and ready, and in fact have been ready for over a week, so we're very disappointed and apologetic for this delay.  As Peter noted, we're ramping fast so a LOT of ETHER Cs will be shipping next week.

  Isolation from inside to outside or outside to inside? Are both better on Ether C then XC?

 
I got a chance to spend a couple of minutes directly comparing the LCD-XC and Ether C at the Nashville meet a few weeks ago. While I don't yet feel comfortable comparing them sonically (although I will once I get them home, of course), I can say that the Ether C does isolate noticeably better than the XC. Hope this helps!

I am pretty sure Alex told me it sold out with the special he was running at RMAF.

Do you think the blurb on the Cavalli website indicates the price of this amp is likely to increase after this initial run?  I'm tempted to jump in on it also.  Not that I should but...
 
I'm still waiting for shipping confirmation on my Ether C.  I'm hopeful it will be the end of next week.  They've got to be pretty close to my number now since I ordered the middle of September.
