Isolation is generally symmetric. If it's good out its good in. It's mostly about the available air paths that let sound escape/enter though it can also be about cup dynamics if the cup is poorly designed.
Make every day a fun day filled with music and friendship!

When Ether C is on par with Alpha Dog that means -21db from Tyll measurements. XC has only -13db. Thats a big difference! Think I will order it and test it.

Yes, no noticeable difference in isolation between Alpha Prime and Ether C. Ether C's better bass and upper mids seems to mask environmental noise better when program material is playing. Or maybe it's just that they sound so darn good that I keep turning up the volume....
Crazy and also carriers. I love tubes. Have for decades as a guitar player. Now into hifi I'm like....ok sure. I have several mid level but God I want a real top end one. Bad.
I have learned to love a good tube amp. The liquid Glass is superb and I just can not believe how well it sounds. I am glad I spontaneously ordered this amp. Frank Zappa and Kate Bush have never sounded better. I will start rolling soon. I am burning in the amp now. I just need to find a good tube suppliers. I just do not like ebay..
My second Cavalli amp, the Liquid Crimson has shown up and it too is fatastic, with a very large holographic soundstage. I am jamming out to some David Brubeck and wow. I am using the stock Gold lion tube, but will switch out that tube after the 200 hour burn in of this amp. There willbe no more insomnia driven spontaneous purchases. My credit cards are locked away a bank deposit box. I do love the sound I am hearing, and cranking up the volume a tad, with a shot of good scotch, does help drown out the sobbing lamentations of my wallet.

I hope so the Crimson sounds wonderful. I like it because its very design, encourages one to drop in a tube and just enjoy the music, which can be nice, when one has a stressful day and does not want to fuss with tube rolling.
