I haven't seen any photos of the latest version on this thread yet, so here's a photo that I took at the LA Audio Show. The body is metal, not plastic. Also you can see the connectors for the user-replaceable cables.

That looks awesome. Really sharp looking..this is probably covered in prior posts, but what's the quick take on expected efficiency - will it be like the Stax 007/009 requiring quite a bit of juice to reach full potential, or more like the Stax Lambda series?

They look great, but that headband would make your hair look like a waffle. How heavy are they? I presume the metal is aluminum.

Final weight is <340grams. The color is final, finish may be adjusted a bit, and the internal silver part will be black to clean up the lines.

Wait, so the plugs have pins protruding outward ? What if careless/mindless people unplug the headphones but keeping the cables plugged into the amp.....then touching the bias pins ? Gotta be fun. Only 550-580V tickles
