Hmm, none of Beats by dre headphone can be used for studio recording because its too far from flat or neutral, its more for processed and music listening. :>

  For recording live sets I like using mad dogs with my adam's. For mixing I don't use headphones I use my adam's. For mastering I use shure 1840's but have used sennheiser hd-600's and akg "annies" in the past.

HD600 all the way when it comes to serious Classical Music listening for exam.. hehe
