Most glorious female voice ever?

Christina Aguilera - her voice is truly epic in "Hurt".
Dido - not so much glorious but amazingly soothing and addictive.
Norah Jones- same as above.

She isnt the best of all time, but she is one of the best locally grown canadian vocalists. Emily Haines, Amy Millan, and Feist.

Ya...don't be hating the indie scene.

If that brings you to tears, Lisa Kelly's or Hayley Westenra's version will make you ball your eyes out. These two are all vocals (no layering like Enya)

A vote for Billie Holiday, 'cause in my book "glorious" ain't necessarily "prettiest," but the most engaging in the long run.

Probably more in the spirit of the discussion, I guess I could vote for Allison Krauss as a "glorious" voice, which also happens to be a "pretty" voice.

Most of my favorites have already been mentioned. I did want to add two others:
1. Moya Brennan (originally of Clannad)
2. Dolores O'Riordan (originally of Cranberries)

Both have recently released solo albums.
