What are the most embarassing CDs in your collection ... and how did they get there? ... CDs your friends ask about ... how did that get in your collection? ... CDs that repeatedly get rejected for trade/cash at the used-CD stores.

i will start ...

More Non-Stop Disco Dance Mix - ex-girlfriend liked one song, bought the CD and left it behind. (i'd have to pay someone to take it away)

Various boy band CDs...I was the right age and the right gender at the right time to be temporarily paralyzed by the craze. Although I'm very proud that I never bought anything by Britney Spears.

But those CDs are at the very back of the closet right now.

The Bee Gee's Greatest Hits. My grandma gave it to me a few years ago (both her CD and Cassette copies) and I've listened to it MAYBE once. I also recorded the Cassette copy with my SoundBlaster 16-Value (the original ISA one w/ a CD-ROM port) and it sounds MUCH better to me than the CD does (go figure).

"Havoline Stars Steel Band" of the Cayman Islands. Havoline because Texaco was the sponsor.

This was given to me by a couple of college freshman girls (then students of mine) when I first arrived on the Island. I managed to suffer through it once, and luckily they never asked me what I thought of it. Bad steel band music and razor blades don't mix well, so I stayed away from anything that would have reminded me of what Van Gogh did to his ear.
