i play online computer games. when i do i use my headphones for up to 4 hrs straight. currently i use grado sr325. i love the sound quality. i was wondering if their was a headphone that was known for its comfort.

I've the ad900 and seriously I dont find them that comfortable. They get hot + the drivercover touch many peoples ears, and they have to mod the pads. Other than that they're light and comfortable.

beyer 990/880/770. No doubt. Their velour pads are soft and breathable, can wear them all day.

I'd have to say that the open AKG models are the most comfortable, such as the K400, K500, K501 and K601.

They basically feel like they're not there. My K500s are more comfortable than the DT770s and the Denon AH-D2000s, both of which are known for the comfort and both of which I have.

That said, all three of those are supremely comfortable.

For me, it's a tossup between the AKG K-501 and the Beyerdynamic DT880.

HD555. I dont think it can get more comfortable than that. For isolating headphones I think the Bose are pretty comfortable.

for me...the Ms1, grado do not clamp and are very light...i find them way more comfortable than the dt-990...but many find grado uncomfortable...there's not a single answer, it simply depends on the shape of your head...

Strange that Denon D2000's comfort just doesn't seem to be all that great for me. For closed headphones they are very good, but feels noticeably heavier on my head than those open AKGs and Beyers.

I find the Stax SR-007 to be über comfortable. Remember having had listening session up to 8-10 hours without any discomfort at all.
Highly recommended for their wearing comfort. ..and sound of course.

I dont find my any of my headphones uncomfortable. But so far the A900's win for comfort.
