Eragon, or most any SiFi "original" movie.  They say "Imagine Greater" - yeah, I can do that.

Citizen Kane. Yeah, I went there. Most overrated movie ever IMHO. Characters were not even the least bit interesting, no reason for me to give a damn about his "rosebud".

Nightmare on Elm Street remake is the first thing that comes to mind, most boring movie I've seen in a long time.
Completely unnecessary remake and this abomination cost millions of dollars and apparently sequels by the same director have already been green-lighted.

Haha, yeah that's a movie most will either love or hate. I remember seeing that in the theater at a midnight showing when it came out and I went into it half asleep and still loved every minute of it.
Probably in my top 10 list of favorite movies.

The most boring movie ever to me is:

Flowers of Shanghai

I hate to say it but I love Japanese B&W films, but those of Akira Kurosawa often bore me to death. Ozu films in comparison aren't even remotely boring to me.

I'm trying to come up with some other films without much luck. I rarely get bored watching any movies. I'm even one who can watch 30 hour documentaries until 3am.

Oh yeah... I attempted to watch "La Dolce Vita" recently. Total snore-fest for me.

Not sure it would take the accolade but off-hand I do remember Meet Joe Black being deeply tedious (and long!).

Any movie that showed in my art appreciation class at college.

On a serious note, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 seemed pretty boring to me, least a large majority of it was.

The James Bond movies after Goldeneye and before Casino Royale. They were all boring.

The Star Wars prequels.

Aliens was rather boring.

Lawrence of Arabia.

I can't decide which takes the cake.
