I was listening to 18k on my computer speakers thinking they don't produce that frequency (which is why I couldn't hear it)...when my wife wakes up from the bedroom, telling me to turn down that loud noise...

I've played it again a few times for her, she says she can consistently hear some of the ones I cannot.

Age is 16, I could hear up to 21khz, although background noise, and the fact that I'm using crappy integrated sound may be why I cant hear 22khz.

For me highest is 19k; 20k has to turn up the volume.
