Thanks very much Eric... I will wait for your impressions when you receive them :)

Of course I will, but only in relation to the four headphones I still own, which can be seen in the photo (below), placed on my Viva 2A3 amp: the Kennerton Thror headphones, the former flagship planar of the Kennerton brand (at 3 K Euros) (diaphragm thickness of the Thror: 10 micrometers, or 5 x the diaphragm thickness of the Moondrop VENUS, that said), and my 3 Sennheiser headphones: HD-560S; HD-400 Pro and HD 58X Jubile.

But first I need to receive the Moondrop VENUS, ordered 1 week ago (for 599 Euros incl. VAT); it's still in the process of being restocked; I'm still hoping to get it before Christmas.

Otherwise, beware of this site, which offers the VENUS at more than 2 times its normal price!

Otherwise, I've just received the two accessories needed to use the VENUS with the two short cables (1.2 m) supplied with the VENUS: a 1.5 m extension cable (6.35 mm jack on the amp side and 3.5 mm on the headphone side) and a 4.4 mm jack (balanced) to 3.5 mm (unbalanced) adapter; the Viva amp only has two 6.35 mm jack headphone sockets.

Does anyone know how Venus performs with classical music? Symphonic genre to be more specific.

For the classical (symphonic) music genre, the VENUS apparently performs very well also when listening to Shostakovich's 11th Symphony by the Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
You are tempting me... Shostakovich is by far my favorite composer, and that cycle of Haitink's recordings is the one that made me know and appreciate Shostakovich's music :)

Hello everyone.

For (graphic) art lovers.

Exactly 537 years separate the birth of Venus (VENUS).

In a Western style (Botticelli, in 1485)

In a more oriental, contemporary or at least generational style (Moondrop 2022) :)

You are perfect for a marketing team... First with Kennerton, then with Sennheiser and now Moondrop :beerchug:

Hi Terriero.

I have many passions in my life (revolving passions).
Astronomy, road cycling, headphones, video games...

To talk about these three headphone brands (Kennerton, Sennheiser, Moondrop), of which I am in no way a shareholder, just one ordinary customer among another, without any conflict of interest, well...

The first headphone brand makes beautiful headphones; the second brand makes good headphones; the third brand perhaps makes, with the VENUS, a beautiful and good headphones ; in any case I like the Venus from Moondrop representation ; this is what I would like to explore further. :)
