Furhter impressions of Blessing 2:
After wearing them for 5 hours straight, no signs of discomfort. They are more comfortable than the Stagediver In-Ears for me( I am southeast asian) This is a huge plus for me, most in ears get uncomfortable for me after couple of hours. The sound remains still very unexciting, paired with the comfort I can't stop listening to them. Female vocals are beautiful tho.

I am getting a set of Starfields. I'm mostly a full sized cans guy. I haven't bought IEMs since before detachable cables were a thing. If I want to get a balanced cable, will any 2-pin cable fit them or do I need a specific housing shape? I see it's a .78 2-pin but most aftermarket cables don't seem to give that measurement.

Would this cable fit the Starfields?

0.78mm is the standard 2 pin measurement. If it is 0.75mm I think they will tell you (for the most part). I think that cable will work with it.

Someone needs to confirm though, because the Starfield‘s 2 pin socket is recessed, but not too deeply recessed. If it needs a plug for a fully recessed 2 pin outlet, and you want a pure silver cable, I would recommend the NiceHCK LitzPS Pro, 8 core silver cable.

Moondrop Starfield. Notice slightly recessed 2 pin socket.

Thanks for these, I see what you mean. Just eye-balling it, it looks like the depth of the socket is somewhere in between these two. Maybe I should just get a 4.4mm balanced to 3.5mm stereo adapter and keep the stock cable.

Actually, you can’t, and these unscrupulous sellers need stop selling them. You can take a balanced cable and use an adapter to convert it to single-ended, but you should NEVER take a single-ended cable, and use an adapter to hook it up to a balanced source. Not only will it not make it balanced, but it can seriously damage the amp.

Further impressions Moondrop B2: I am using a Sabaj DA2 as Desktop-Setup, which has near 0 output impedance. Therefore the B2's frequency respone is pretty much the intended one of Moondrop. With my Galaxy M20, which has probably a much higher output imepdance... the Bass is less thus the sounding appears much brighter.
I will probably get an Ifi IEmatch to get the proper sound signature when I am on the go.

IEmatch is not an impedance adapter though, it's an attenuator. If you want a lower impedance, you'll need to get a separate dac/amp.

It does adapat tho. For example if my source has 10 ohm and I am plugging the iematch with ultra setting, the output impedance of 1 Ohm will be applied and thus the B2 will have the correct sounding. You can read up the isse about Multi-Ba Setups and output impedances.
