Piano, guitar, etc. is heavy on the right. I know this may be sound stage...but its really weird. Everything else is normal except for this. I got my pair new from onecall. Is it a dud?

compare it with other gear you have to see if it's similar or not.
 
I don't know about recordings but when mixing with say two speakers. If a bass player for example is on the right side the notes coming from that bass player would be more prominent on the right side than the left side. They aren't equal in volume since it wouldn't make sense to have both sides sound the same. It should probably be similar to recording.
