Any of the Dekoni Audio Elite ear pads for Audeze LCD series will fit. I use the fenestrated sheepskin, but the others will work too. FYI, the LCD pads are the same size/shape, but they do mount using the included two sided adhesive.Where can i get replacement leather ear pads for them?
They sure look similar to the LCD pads, so any other pads a part from Dekoni will work as long as they work on LCD headphones too?Any of the Dekoni Audio Elite ear pads for Audeze LCD series will fit. Won't they change the stock tuning a lot? or is the M1570 not that dependent on pads like Focal's / Sennheiser's ?
Thoughts on THESE ?

I bought Ether Flow 1.1 and they are not huge upgrade to M1570. Almost same tuning and same pleasure to listen to but Ethers are more refined. Details, soundstage width and high, dynamic, harder bass kick on Ethers side. Tunnel-echo effect, soundstage depth, bass dissolving are M1570 nice characteristics. Monolith M1570 are bargain at their price and I will wait with decision of their sale to moment when I receive HE-6se V2 but DCA Ether Flow will be my favourites to that time. They are too similar for me to keep them both.

Thats troubling if you found the Ethers better than the M1570, both Ether Flow and Aeon Flow are a bit limp and lifeless dynamics-wise.I bought Ether Flow 1.1 and they are not huge upgrade to M1570. In every genre of music lifeness, speed, dynamic, precision is better with Ethers. They are very much reacting to earpads. I found them completely bad sounding with thick leather earpads like from M1570 + any velours. White tuning pads are mufling them much too. I'm using them with quite flat Dekoni sheepskin earpads + black tuning felts and compared to M1570 at quite long session as I tried to find advantages on M1570 to keep them as I still love them so muchThats troubling if you found the Ethers better than the M1570, both Ether Flow and Aeon Flow are a bit limp and lifeless dynamics-wise.

I've finally decided that this is a great headphone, but it's just not my flavor. So if anyone's wanting a deal, I'm selling mine in the Classifieds:

Monolith AMT $999
Monolith M1570C $599
Monolith M1070C $399
Keep eyes and ears out for impressions and reviews. I am mainly interested in the AMT

The AMT intrigues me. It would intrigue me more if it weighed 100g less or had a band that didn't remind me of the one I find disappointing on my (much cheaper) M1570. If/when it goes on sale for $699.

The specs on the driver for the planar and the design on the headband look a lot like the black Goldplanar GL850, though the driver housing is different. I imagine Goldplanar is the OEM for this, but I wonder what tweaks they’ve made to the sound.
I bought the M1570s as soon as they came out, but I think I’ll wait for the sale price before I try the AMTs.

I'm guessing the sale price will be $599

These are AMTs and not true ribbons. These would be more similar to the GoldPlanar GL850 and HEDD HEDDphone rather than the RAAL or the GoldPlanar GL1200.I'm guessing the sale price will be $599(Or hoping) Been wanting ribbons since I saw the SR1A / LCD-R
