Hi, which mod did you make in M1060C?, I sold mine but I remember that has a peak in 2-4k region. Now I own 1070c and m1570, the last is great sounding, mids are excellent forward and bass and treble are on another class. M1070c I didn’t like, I owned the open version and was better sounding, so between m1060c and m1070c prefer the 1060, I was thinking in buy another pair , here was my modded cups

On my M1060C I currently have the fuzzor mod on the cup side of the driver (making a fazor out of felt, see 1st pic below), I have THIS 115mm 3D printed fazor/ear pad adapter on the pad side of the driver, a set of custom Vesper Audio 120mm sheepskin pads, a HiFiMan headband, and I removed the biggest of the 3 foam discs from inside the ear cups. If you decide to go with the pad adapter on a set of M1060C, you will need 4 of THESE longer screws to mount the adapter. In the 2nd pic below the arrows point to the location of the 4 screws you would remove and the 3 other screws holding the driver in that you don't remove are circled. It's the only old pic I could find, but the screws are Phillips head and are removed from the ear pad side. Hopefully that helps.
