Opening my modified M1060C for the first time* for a minor repair, here's how it looks. Not in the photo is the thin foam on the underside of the cups, which may be stock.

Some wood grilles. Just got done the horizonal lined ones. They came out pretty dark but otherwise nice. They look pretty retro too, idk if the hexacon is cooler. They're still pretty classy!

Very nice and, as you say, classy. An audio-o-phile would pay a wad for that finish, but where might a cheapskate.. I mean bargain-hunter purchase this?

Just get them printed in woodfill PLA and sand/stain yourself. I had a set done for about $14.

Yes, it's not hard to sand and stain them yourself. I just printed them at home and sanded/stained and finished with oil. And if I would ship them from Finland to US I think the shipping it will just cost too much.
I used first 240 grit to get the layers smooth, then 400. That's enough for smooth surface.

Hi Renzixx, my 1060c is modefied with the walnut open back wood cups, the hifiman headband and the red pariapht cables. However i have all original parts and can be undone and put back to original close back, why anyone would is beyond me but i made sure not to butcher my headphones. They are in like new conditions and i barely ever use it because i have way to many headphones. P.m with an offer.

those look great man.
Did anyone ever make a pad attachment rig for these? my suede eikon pads are pretty much ruined from the adhesive that are used on these and before I put my new hybrid zmf auteur pads on, I would prefer not to use the adhesive rings or double sided tape
