Mojo's Greatest Hits

I'm loving Joe Jackson "Jumpin' Jive"  (1981)

All songs are excellent, but perhaps try "Tuxedo Junction" first

Mojo reveals the great sq and musicality from a pop legend!

I posted this in the main Mojo thread, earlier, but it deserves to be posted here in Peter's thread.

Nils Lofgren - 'Keith Don't Go'

This is a well-known audiophile recording, and sounds superb via Mojo - in particular, listen for the metallic string plucking at the 03:22 point, which Mojo renders beautifully.

I'm sure that it is even better with a DAVE - have you spoken to Santa yet?

Santa loves me but doesn't have that kind of cash! LOL

I've mentioned this before but I'd enjoy hearing what commentators make of the recording itself:

Fleetwood Mac's remastered version of "Sara"

Is the soundstage this good or are we hearing deliberate recording techniques to accentuate the separation of instruments ?

Also, the 'ending' of the cymbal sound is distinct.  I hope that does not sound odd...I struggle with the appropriate wording...it does not linger into a blur...does that sound right?

I am not a fan of Fleetwood Mac but this recording is something special.

I am listening at TIDAL, with Mojo and either Beyerdynamic T1 or T8.

Lately I have been listening to some Postmodern Jukebox tunes on Tidal and have recently discovered that they are on Youtube. Mojo always conveyed the soundstage as intimate and close. Turns out, that's exactly the way it is! They try to put a retro spin on modern era songs and I find that a lot of their songs are very musical!

Here is on example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZcbwz3N2eU - "The Tap Awakens" - 'Star Wars' Tap Dance Medley ft. Sarah Reich

Mojo renders every note and nuance in a very believable way!

Another one that I like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2kOj-GFN8k - Stacy's Mom - Vintage 1930s Hot Jazz Fountains of Wayne Cover ft. Casey Abrams

Listen to the person playing the piano. The piano sounds lightning quick and you can hear every note!

Same story with this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBmlCZTF4Xs -  Umbrella - Vintage "Singin' in the Rain" Style Rihanna Cover ft. Casey Abrams & The Sole Sisters

I discovered this by total accident when watching videos on TED Talks on youtube. They aired a performance of St. James infirmary Blues. Extremely well done and highly musical! I think everyone should check out this performance since the song is a classic!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvuINJTMG8g - "St. James Infirmary Blues" | Silk Road Ensemble + Rhiannon Giddens

I also discovered this group named Harpeth Rising. They are a very talented group of girls.
