You can Use most all Dynamics, but I don't think most planars would work well, unless they are the smaller portables.

I had to pinch the 100uf kaisei caps from mine for someone elses so mines been out of action. I haven't used blackgates for a long time due to price, availablity, dubious spec tolerance and life expectancy of something ancient before you start.
