Mod House Audio Tungsten - Planar Magnetic Headphones - Impressions and Discussion

I don't have my Tungstens yet to test this, but to make a air gap on my Diana V2s, I just used small rubber feet on the driver side of headphone and then aligned the screws and magnets like normal. By rubber feet I mean the ones you would put on small electronics to keep them from scratching or moving around. They also come off easy and won't damage your headphones. I don't have to do this any more with the Diana, as Dekoni made amazing pads that fixed their weird tuning.

do you have the DS with perforated pads?
checked the details on the small data sheet (below the headphones) in the picture Corporalis posted, and it seems he chose the Caldera Hybrid ones

I used to slide guitar picks in the corners on my Diana TC.

Nice! I am only 20ish away. DS or SS? did you custom color?
DS and custom color. I went with the dark green I saw in an earlier post.

That green is great and goes very well with the cable. :)

does opting for a custom color for your grills result in a longer wait time ?

It's hard to say, but it didn't seem to in my case, or at least not more than a day or two. I did select a color that was used before, so the material was probably on hand.

I would assume that Mimic uses their own order numbers (order #4783 here) and then sends the request on to Modhouse.
Whether that send is immediate, or based on some batch amount, I have no idea ... 🤷‍♂️
Order was placed on 11/11/2023, no updates yet.
