Hey all,

My LCD-3s are at the factory for repair, but I could bring the brandy new ZMF X Vibros, along with some decent DACs (Mytek StereoDSD mastering, Calyx DAC 24/192) and my Phonitor, if anyone’s interested…

Oliver,

Welcome to the club.  Tyler here.  The Phonitor sounds like an awesome device to bring along :)

Are you getting the fazor upgrade done to your LCD-3s?

Hey man,

The Phonitor is a fun box. I can bring it, along with my Amarra Symphony rig and a DAC or two. Not sure yet about fazor, am waiting for a reply on why they want to charge me $220 for a repair!

Just replaced my Tung-Sol round plate VT231! You guys have no idea how happy I was to find a replacement for so cheap locally! I'll bring it along with my 5998's and GZ32 for maximum HD800 enjoyment!

Snapple, you will like this tube a lot... trust me, this NOS one is a lot better sounding then the used up old one I replaced (kinda happy it died lol)

Excellent tubes make such a huge difference...definitely looking forward to hearing the Glenn OTL setups with the HD800. I need some additional references as to how they can be tonally shaped. Should be awesome!

I'm bringing a few of my favorite tube combos so you will get the chance to hear how much the amp changes with different tubes.

Hi all:

I live in the Twin Cities (St. Paul) and would like to swing by. Only problem is that I have virtually nothing you'd want to hear. I could bring a decent CD player if that's of interest -- a new Teac CD-H750B.

I'm probably an outlier for you guys in that I'm mainly interested in in-ear monitors and portable players with good fidelity to use while exercising. The rest of the time, I just play music through my home speakers or in my car. Still, it would be cool to hear some great headphones.

Let me know if you'd like me to bring the Teac.

Wow... just saw this now.  I will be there; not sure what I can bring with me, but I will bring all of my cans/IEMs.

Please let me know how I can contribute to the room costs, et al.

One more late addition here. I just moved here a couple days ago and only have my Alessandro MS-1 cans. Oh, I do also have a Yamaha THR10C if anyone wants to hear that guy. Small guitar amp with built in DAC, headphone out. I'll throw it in the car in case.

Any idea what the cost breakdown is at this point? Also, what can I bring in the way of food or drink?

Edit: also Klipsch Image X10 IEMs. I forgot those were in my work bag.

I'll try to get a count of how many people are coming tonight and post it. Might even consolidate the gear into one list if i know the engineer in me. stand by for a spreadsheet....heh :D
