What other choice? CK10, Shure 535, FA-DBA-02 any other choice?

ok forget about the rest, what i really want to ask is whether SoundMagic PL50 is better then the RE0 for vocal in term of clarity and forcefulness.

I would say the PL-50 are a lot smoother and softer sounding than the RE0.  It's been a while since I had my PL-50 so take my opinions with a grain of salt.  Clarity was better on the RE0, but for mid range I think the PL-50 were more foward than the RE0.  "forcefullness" the RE0 wins.  Vocals, it depends on what you're looking for.

Compared to PL50s I would say the RE0s sound dryer in the mids.
The PL50s are smoother in the mids, but the RE0s do have better detail and much better highs than the PL50s.
If you want something like the RE0 with smoother more forward mids look at the RE-ZERO if that is in your price range.
IMO the mids is the only area the PL50s shine , the RE0s and RE-ZEROs beat the PL50s in quality and detail in bass and highs.
I would go as far to say the ZEROs beat the PL50s in mids too, but they are $99.

Currently I have the RE0, Monster Turbine and UF10 on the way. I am keeping RE0 for clarity and excellent with string music, MT for warmnest. UF10 I cant comment but should be a class with it's own, I have heard good things on the PL50. People said it's a little brother of Shure 535 in term of mid? Of course the excellent price.

I got my PL50s from House of Dap when they had a special for $39.
Good value at that price.
