Just a few minutes ago the Effect Audio Griffin cable arrived at my doorstep. My PC was playing a test track list that I used to test new gear. So I switched the Hakugei cable from my IEM to the new Griffin cable. I was expecting an audible upgrade and to my surprise the first thing I noticed was the increased clarity. Then I noticed that the music was calmer and sounded more soft. The cable is definitely good and the packaging is so nice.

I like the griffin but it is a bit stiff I prefer a more supple cable the 8W cadmus is more supple

Yea, that's how I feel about all of the Effect Audio 4w cables I've come across. They're still good cables, but they seem to be more stiff and have more memory. Their 8w offerings are just way easier to handle even though they use the same cables, just doubled-up. It must be the braiding or something.

Dsnuts reviewed it and said it is above the CS02 but below the Renata. I have a feeling though this style of cable with also kinda be sounding like it is from the CS02/Renata part of town. Thanks yes, I will have a review in a week or so, I actually don’t have the ISN C-OCC yet, but I’m looking forward to getting it. Cheers!
